Discover the beautiful sites and wonderful cuisine of Normandy during your French cooking vacation. Home of camembert, cider and cows, Normandy is where the green, pleasant French countryside runs into the rolling waves of La Manche.  In addition to hands-on cooking lessons, market visits, and food tastings, your culinary tour will give you the opportunity to explore the area’s rich history, including the stunning Mont Saint Michel, one of the most visited sites in France, and the beaches of D-Day.

About the Cooking Courses

Your hostess will lead you on your culinary discovery of Normandy’s fresh ingredients and rich flavors. Her philosophy is simple: to share her experience of everyday life with her guests, to open her home and kitchen so that you can get an taste of the local culture and the simple, authentic country life of rural Normandy. Classes last around 3 hours and generally include the hands-on preparation of a French meal. Dinner provided includes a seasonal starter, main course, salad, cheese, dessert and coffee…. with the emphasis on seasonal, locally-produced ingredients.
